Re: help needed
Advice on '' build tips '' will depend how far along the trail of a complete build you've got to Regarding the bike engine loom , I'd contact Premier Wiring and speak to Alan , he's very helpful and a whizz at adapting things to suit what you have . Tell him what you've got and I'm sure he'll advise how to ' marry '' them up if that's appropiateianminki wrote:hi all

Re: help needed
my advice would be to ditch the wires for the lights and all of that sort of stuff from the bike wiring loom, keep the bits you need for the engine to run, eg, ecu wiring and things like side stand switch and clutch switch and use the usual premier wiring kit for the stylus, using the positive supply thats dedicated for the engine in the premier kit to power the engine loom for your blade engine. its much the same as using a premier wiring kit and using a car engine as most of us have done and using maybe a weber ecu. alternatively you could ditch the bike ecu and wiring totally and use a megasquirt ecu as so many people do these days.

I made a few looms off this (it uses brit Std colours , most stylus looms were ford din std), it gives you an idea of what you need. A word of advice ,run a continuity earth wire around the car as a ring circuit as well as connecting the earth to the chassis in dry areas , high up in engine bay , dash x beam and rear boot. If you have a sierra column try and get plugs and tails for the switches it makes it allot more staight forward. I will see if I have any switch diagrams about. Hope this helps !
