Is your's a proper Stylus chassis Matt ?

My understanding is that it's a heavily modified Fury type chassis, but not having a Stylus chassis handy for comparison I'm not sure. I think the chassis numbering system restarted when SSC took over from Jeremy, if anyone speaks to Jeremy they could perhaps ask if he can remember how many Styluses (Styli?) he built?

It would have to be a Stylus chassis with that number. SSC stands for specialist sports cars and the first two figures are the year of manufacture --- Pete Powell bought the building rights in 1996

Tim's first three letters were the same but stood for stylus sports cars.
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

SSC020100 - now "some meaningless DVLA drivel" :(
Name's Mark (me, not the car - I'm not female!), car specs are Zetec 1.8, live axle, with possibly one of the first RT shells.
But still not on the road, and now finished but delayed IVA until next year as I'm abroad until July. Big party when it happens though :P
If we were meant to walk we would not have invented the car. ;o))

I've just dug out my V5 (it's too dark to go poking around in the garage!).

To further muddy the water my chassis number is SF920074, which doesn't seem to match any of the others. Saying that, mine is a Fury chassis so that may be part of the Fury chassis number series.

Matt, for your list - the car is the ex-Alistair Wood Green X-Flow.

I think Mine Was 990065 - sold it to Phil (ned) in May of this year
I had the "chassis number is too short issue" so I believe the number became SBATSSC990065
All the documentation went with the car so I can't confirm.

Anyway I'm still having fun in TVR land (No regrets  ) just dropped in to see what was going on.

Not quite the first RT built as the factory built a handful before & converted a few older classics too.
But Alec's was the first customer self-built from scratch RT.

Mine is 97030... so I hope Uncle Ken isn't!?!
It also won't be staying yellow, but can't tell you yet what it is going to be (as I've not decided).
It shows 6 former keepers, but I only know of Phil, Nathan, and the website shows Martin Stilgoe/Tony Harper?
It was OTR May 98, just pre-SVA perhaps.

Is a Classic.
Kit Date --- May 2001 ------ Maybe someone can fathom out a number from this date ?
