Pic's of Alec's RT
Went to BRIZE to see Alec's new Stylus yesterday and what a very nice build it is . Own paint job , not yet finally polished but still looked a great shade of ' orange ' with a very nicely finished black interior. Some nice detailing using stainless fixings and rivets nicer than the ones I used Here's a few pic's I took while there .
Well done Alec , a great car
Rob.
Sorry about the seemingly yellow colour on this one Alec , it's just the camera

out in the sun !
Yes , I agree plus their diminutive appearance stands out especially when parked next to any other car ----- shame we couldn't have photo'd it next to one of those huge RAF planes on site
Rob(we shall have to find a way of meeting when yours is done George !)

summer time meet
Sounds good , just a matter of timing --------- look forward to seeing it
Rob.
P.S. by the way George , how did you get your engine photo small enough to go on here. I've tried downsizing to the smallest choice of 680 x 800 but it wont have it ?

Rob the picture has to be 180x180 pixel and no more than 16K to fit. If you are unable to get to that size email me your picture you want to us and will resize for youstylussprinter wrote:Sounds good , just a matter of timing --------- look forward to seeing it

They are British Standard marked numberplates. Yes they are fitted to Japanese imports but you can use them legally in this country.
To get them you need to go to somewhere that orders plates rather than makes them in house.
The front one and rear one were both originally 6 inch by 12 inch with the letter spacing as close together and as small as legally allowed. When I got the plates there was a lot of wasted plastic on them at the edges. As you can see on the back one, I have left this standard but the front one has had the 2 sides just simply cut off. As my friendly bobby explained to me before I did it, the letters have to be readable from a set distance and a certain height and spacing. The law doesn't stipulate the amount of reflective area the plate has so as long as the BS mark is still there and you don't make the plate un-readable you should be fine.

excuse my ignorance but whats going on in Aldershot?
i'm probably spending the weekend get it running right after sorting the valves, looks like the cam/crank timing is slightly out + a few bushes to swap over following some advice from Tim.
I'm hoping to be out in it by sunday afternoon Rain or shine
