Re: hood
Although Fury's were designed by the same guy , I don't think they are alike enough for it to fit well . Probably better off getting one made locally by a good upholstery chap once you've made a couple of hoops to stretch it over. Failing that the very best hood maker I know of is http://www.softbitsforsevens.co.uk -- She's called JILL JUDD and it's on this forum under LINKS.
I suppose Tim SSC might tell you who makes them for him --- worth a phone call or text message

If you can get Tim he will tell you as he told me but as I managed to get one I have forgotten who it was. Re: hood
I had a hood on the green Stylus I sold and that didn't leak in heavy rain . The dip in the windscreen top rail edge should have self adhesive foam strip about 3mm thick x 20mm wide on it.flipper123 wrote:As we are talking hoods how does everyone elses fit as mine leaks like a sive just wondered how all your are fitted cos its bloody annoying.

Re: hood
While we're on the subject of hoods, my hood was modified to fit over the roll hoop with he original frame removed. Consequently the edges above the doors collapse in as nothing is there to keep them out.
I was thinking of putting a partial frame in to support these edges and provided a better seal between the hood and the door. Hopefully this should keep me a little drier! Does anyone have any photos of one of the original hood frames? I'm planning to upholster the interior this summer so I'd rather not have everything getting wet as soon as it rains!

Does anyone have a few pictures of this bar, the edge of the hood its fitted to and the top of the windscreen as I'm going to be looking at getting a hood sorted in the next few weeks and need some ideas how to fix it to the windscreen top.flipper123 wrote:As we are talking hoods how does everyone elses fit as mine leaks like a sive just wondered how all your are fitted cos its bloody annoying.

Also if anyone has pics of the internal support bars they would help too.

Re: hood
Slightly off topic but I don't know if anyone else spotted the Stylus in the last Complete Kitcar (pg36) with a new hood from Intatrim. Looked pretty smart. Apparently this is who did the hoods from Tim?
