which one of these seats will fit my stylus

Post by Antnicuk »

I fancy a set of these and i like the fact they are not flat at the bas so will go over the tube running across the seat well.

I have tried measuring but it is very difficult to get an idea if they will fit.

Any ideas?

The one that the website says will fit a STRIKER will fit a Stylus easily. I have a similar seat in mine which I bought from a Striker owner who couldn't get it into his car. You could nip over to me and measure up Tony
I'll try to take a clear photo of mine but it's rather dark being black and shiny. It has rivnuts on each corner underneath which can be bolted into from under the seat pan with large washers. The rear of the seat sits and is bolted tight to the floor. The front sits in the air about 50mm's so I've used pieces of tube that slide over the long bolts to keep it rigid. At the back I've Sikaflexed a spacer between the seat back and rear bulkhead to keep it from flexing. This has worked very well and never come adrift in 6 years.
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

I have these very seats in my car! I went to the factory in Southport with a template of the floor pan made from wall paper to check fitting, they do a couple of different widths so I got a drivers seat to fit me and got a larger one for the passenger seat. I will try and check what size they are tonight and post a couple of photos on for good measure..

Few pic's but a bit dark Tony . The tape on the seat back is just covering thin foam to adjust my driving position after changing the pedals to floor mounted.

As promised, here are a couple of photos of my seats. Just a little info, the drivers seat is 380mm wide (where the tape measure is) and was chosen to fit me at 5'8" and 13 stone, it is fitted on runners that are less than 30mm deep as my wife will be using the car as well as me.
The passenger seat is 400mm wide but a wider seat again would fit and this is fitted on spacers to raise it up and look balanced.

thanks gents. i think i could probably squeeze the 42 cm wide one in there. they have said that if they dont fit they would swap them for a smaller one, which is helpful.

any recommendations of 3 inch harnesses?

I have a Luke 3" x 3" FIA 4 point. Fits me well, & is easy to adjust.
About a 1/3rd off the costs of a Willans
The have a length pattern for the Fury RGB racers, so just ask for that.

They are on the web under the corbeau seats website (same company I think).
