hi all
can anybody help with this . im lloking at puting a new vin plate on my cay car .i have a chasse number on a little plate that is on the car but looking to put a ally one on with paint colour and engin number as well as chasse number where can i get one from pls . thanks

You will have to make your own Ian . Stamp the numbers you want on a piece of ally using punches then either rivet or Sikaflex the plate on to the chassis . I made mine the same width as the chassis tubes and mounted it just behind the drivers side ' rocker ' tower , on the 25mm's tube . You normally do that once it's passed SVA .
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

You could try one of those places that do engravings, you know like watches and trophys.
They must have jigs and engraving machines that would do a tidy job!!

thanks for that . dont have any punch tools so will have a look at petes idea .i have been on phone to dvla and all i need to do to get on the road is change logbook info ie engin number as i have put a motorbick engin in . my mane jobs now are to get brackes set up and clutch and finnish of interia. its been hard work for me but been able to look on here i have got it all done
ide like to thanks u all with all the info thats avauble here as i wuold have not knoe how to start the job. still lot of things ide like to do to it but that i can do oncve on the road . i knoe im no good at this bit
