Progress at last!

Post by Pete&Matt »

After nearlly 2 years of not touching the Stylus we finally got back out on it and cracked on with getting the body done!

Off to see Joe at Middleton Motors tommorow to sort out having the car painted etc.

Nearlly decided on the colour now, but will keep that a secret and a supprise to when its done!

Pic attached of how the car is now and all loaded up!

Cool !
A colour seems to change it from a build object into a "car".

Would be interested to know the £££ cost.
Thinking mine might deserve a blow over soon.
Joe painted it in 2001, needs a refresh :-)

It certanlly will!

Will give me a little more enthusiasm to get out there and finish it when its painted! Spent so many hours getting the body right and the shut line perfect etc!

Not looking forward to the quote though!

Give Joe cash and you'll be pleasantly surprised ---- he did my repaired front end right up to the doors and a couple of feet along the sills underneath , for £400 in 2009
Good to see you on here posting and car nearing completion too :P
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

All booked in now for 1st June! Very glad we went to Joe as he has showed us the amount of work required on the shell to get it right! Very resonable price too!

We need to get a dust cover to protect the new paintwork when its back in the garage. Been looking on the net for one but really need to know the length of the car. Anyone got a tape measure handy and let us know!! Don't want to guess.
