Yokohama/Silverstone

I know many of you use Yokohama tyres, so you may be interested to know that Yokohama have just bought Silverstone tyres in Malaysia and are retooling the factory to produce Yokohama branded tyres, now Silverstone tyres are og/good value (I raced on them for 5 years no problem) but they are cheap, so hopefully you will be seeing cheaper Yokohama tyres in the future, but my head tells me you may be seeing 'silverstone' tyres at Yokohama prices, if it was my money for Yokohama prices I'd want proper Japanese quailty, youmay want to look at the country of manufactur in future before you pay the full price.

I think the idea of cheap locations / labour is to reduce manufacturing costs , not selling prices.
