Quiffey :?: :?: :?: do you mean an ATB LSD :?: Regarding the ratio , most Bike engined cars go for a much higher crown wheel and pinion . I've heard that 3.54 or even higher ratio is normal (maybe to do with the bike reduction gear integral with engine/box :?: ) Most car engines in kits will be 3.89 or 4.1 for the road . I run 4.4 but 4.7/5.1/5.3 are available and handy for hillclimbs or very short sprints.
Info on bike engine cars is more likely found on either RGB racers forum or JPSC forum --- find them on google Ian.
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

Ian

What rear springs are you using? 275 seem pretty firm for a bike engined car, I would have expected 220-240 front assuming 180-200 at the rear.

Alex

edit: just seen 225 on your other thread. If its more of a track car then that's about right, for a road car and potholed roads I'd go with a softer set up.
