Stylus Register

Will attempt to keep this "current".
So if you want me to update the info about your car, have sold, or have recently bought a Stylus, let me know via PM.
Alternatively, Data Protection Privacy will be respected, so if you want your info removed, let me know that too.

Hi Matt.

Mine is SF920107, hometown is Leamington Spa. On the road June '98. Dave Hunter wasn't the builder, but I believe he brought it from the builder. And when I pull my finger out it will have a zetec in!

Hope that helps.

Interesting... so its a Sylva not SSC ? Fury or Stylus Chassis ??
Yours must be one of the earliest Jermey > Pete P kits.

It's a JP Stylus chassis. I did finish it off with quite a few bits from Peter powell.

If your front suspension rockers are steel pressings it's P. Powell/Neville chassis . If they are a square tube welded between steel triangular web's left and right then it's JP ie. FURY chassis.

That's the simplest way to identify them , other things too but less obvious when covered with a body
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

H'mmm ---- hood-wise , well George/hearbear has hoops etc to copy but if you want to sprint it then the hoops will be too low for the necessary rollover bar. Club :?: Well I'm biased of course but the FDMC is extremely varied in it's motorsport opportunities , many that it organises itself and others jointly with other clubs. I also belong to the BARC SW ie Gurston hillclimb . That's a challenge for anyone --- definitely bottle required BUT what a buzz :P Rallying is very well catered for at FDMC plus TRIALS ie. muddy hillclimbs in specialist cars etc .

That's why I like Dunnell's stuff ------ not cheap but very good including his ecu 's (mines never put a foot wrong) . What are you using Alex :?:

Slight updates for recent PMs - noticed too that I'd missed some comments posted here.

Now up to date based on known info, but several car have changed hands &/or been For Sale recently.
eg Jeff Bonds V8, Ned - If you are a new Stylus owner, please let me know.

Rob (CMA) - would be interested to know your SSC chassis no if you can find it :P

Have also numbered the cars I know are (or have been) registered/OTR - 53.
We've never seen quite that many together in one place :!:
Seems a high number, but the cars are out there, I guess the owners just aren't on the forum.

Quite a few almost road-ready which would boost the total too.
