Brilliant news and I can't believe it took over a week fr me to notice!
A lot has changed since 2008, let alone 1997 when I got mine. So I'd like to think that social media and even this forum could be of assistance.
Perhaps a relaunch day would be appropriate when you are ready. Im sure there would be a lot of attendees and maybe we could get the mags to turn up too.

Early days of course, but do you have much development in mind? Ive often wondered about an extra couple of inches in the chassis\ door area for example, not to mention a standardised IRS, now that escort bits are getting expensive. Fully built cars are another idea.......

Hi Rob, The stylus I bought was sva'd in 2004 by a chap by the name of Robert from Eastbourne. Sadly he could not drive it much due to a back problem, and since 2004 it has done just 1000 miles. It is a live axle car with a Burton big valve crossflow engine and twin dellorto 40's. Virtually all parts were new, and it has an age related plate. Attention to detail is amazing with all suitable fasteners being stainless. It has gaz adjustable dampers, all new brakes, recon diff and gearbox, new genuine minilite wheels with Yokos, custom made dash with white dials, and it drives like brand new. It is beautifully trimmed, and is a real credit to the previous owner. I bought it with the idea of upgrading to a duratec engine with bike t/b's but the crossflow has really surprised me, and maybe we'll keep it for a while (about 130 - 140 bhp I'm told). The exhaust is a rear exit stainless one costing a grand. We want to replace the new looking seats with Caterham s-type ones, and will design a new bonnet with louvres and a long central bulge modelled from the front wing curves. It is a lovely car, and about a quarter of the price of a Cateringvan. We leave for Spain on Monday for 7 months, and work begins on it next April. Having owned about 120 cars and bikes now, the Stylus is seriously my favourite. My other half doesn't agree, but never mind.

Suffice say its been a very long weekend. Having been to Wales & back-again, again.

Now have all the tasty bits back in their new home, ready to embark on actually making some parts.
The Stylus kit package as devised by Tim really is a vast improvement on what I got back in '99, lots of the difficult jobs thought about & simplified.

Steep learning curve & reality-check ahead for me, plus all the "modern revisions" needed to the running gear. PLENTY of work to get my head into.
I will attempt to keep everyone updated through the winter.. but it might be a bit sporadic.

Lots of smaller "lost" parts are being asked for right now... Door Hinges, Hoods & hoops & rails, door skins, boots & bonnets, 3 piece dashboards, carpets, ..... etc

If you do seriously want any parts for existing cars/part-builts do drop me a PM on here, or email through info@ssc-stylus.co.uk
Timescales are a little too long at present, but will get better. But if I know what people want I can prioritise.

In particular, if you want an RT arch kit for your classic let me know as I am about to integrate it into the main body mold.
ie.. the RT comes out of the mold done, no radical surgery needed. Possible the existing RT arch molds will die at that point.
(Intending that both Classic & RT shapes will remain available, and the flip front will still be a manual conversion)

He's very busy just sorting non itemised jigs and what they all are plus getting ready for Stoneliegh . Before that , a building had to be concreted , modified , painted etc ---- all on a limited time available . Remember , he's not full time guys , just wanting to save the '' Stylus '' marque
