We're not allowed to keep the trailers next to the competition cars so it will be in a specific trailer area but you can chain it to that.

Jane Harratt/comp'n sec' phoned me to tell me the meeting this weekend is a one day event , not Saturday too as is usual . Apparently they'll be setting up for the event from 10am on Saturday , so I can arrive whenever I like to camp over for Sunday . That being the case , I'll take a leisurely drive down in the afternoon and pitch the tent
Hope to see a few of you on the Sunday , unless anyone fancies camping over

The forecast isn't great  Sunday says poor visibility , showers , sunny intervals ---- h'mmm ---- reminds me of Eelmoor Oct. 2008 :(

I thought I should put a '' heads up '' on here regarding Sunday at GURSTON :) . The local forcast now says showers Saturday BUT heavy rain on Sunday  Bearing in mind I'm camping plus the cost of my last torrential rainy day event at Eelmoor :( I will post up here tomorrow by 12-00 am , if I'm still going . I'll look up the forcast again at 11-00am and if not changed some , then regretfully I'll waste the entry fee and stay home

Sadly (but wisely I think  ) I've decided not to go :( £90 down the drain seemed the better decision in these circumstances

Two free tickets wasted sitting here too

Hi Rob

A shame, but sensible :(
(don't let it become a habit, you never have before ! )

It been pee'ing down here all day, with some pretty amazing cloud bursts !
Little bit of localised flooding in Arford too..

Bit more car familiarity needed (after your enforced lay-off  ) before testing your commitment !
You won't get a comparison time for 2003 if its wet anyway.

Matt

oh well rob,
better to loose some money rather than the car or worst, a wise decision. we will have to meet up another time.

Just got back from Gurston! Well we only had a few spots of rain towards the end and a very short shower! apart from that it was grey and windy!

Was some good cars there today! Not as many as there usually are, but still a good turn out!

We went to Combe on Sunday, & was surprised to see you missing.
got there mid afternoon (negotiated the entry fee), had I have known the main star was not there I would have demanded a more favorable entrance fee. I was trying to get some miles on the bike (still running in), but was so windy we didn't do many miles.
Had a chat to some of the guys we had competed against & enjoyed the bikes having a go.

As we had left for Llandow mid Friday afternoon & didn't get back till late Saturday, I didn't check the forum, so sad we missed you. Sorry we didn't make contact with Pete&Matt (probably sat at the next table in the cafe & passed each other walking up the hill  ) cant remember what you look like (I'm sure we've met before).

Still a good day out anyway - and will update our Llandow sprint news soon.

I'm not sure I'd have been ' the main star ' at Gurston :P I was just hoping to improve my previous best , in that class's company  but cheers for your sentiment
