Collected from Joe Middleton this morning....
Now on the ramp for windscreen fit.
Hmmm... Don't know what happened to the pic I posted earlier. Was definitely there, but then vanished
Here it is again...

Windscreen looks very smart. Is it a heated one from Ricky Evans? Fitted with some generic windscreen trim?
I am thinking I might replace mine with a heated one.

Quick update....Unc's been busy..
After an unplanned engine bottom end rebuild (low oil pressure when revved), now back together & cockpit trimmed.
Rover V8 does sound good too
The red tape has started....
Got allocated a proper VIN no today.
DVLA now want to inspect it.
MOT next week or so.
IVA paperwork filled out & about to be posted.
On the road by the end of the summer with a bit of luck.
Not bad for a project started in '97 by the original kit buyer.
I'd better get my own Stylus sorted or he'll be round mine taking the P. !

The screen came from a local glass supplier - link here:-
http://addisongroup.co.uk/addison/index
Cost around £230 including fitting, but not the Transit rubber trim which we already had.
We took the car to them, rather than use a mobile fitter.
I think most of the independent supplier will be able to order it in... just stay away from the insurance chasers like Autoglass if you want a decent price.
(Had my works Honda screen changed recently -
Autoglass quoted £800, then reduced it to £600 through giving "trade" discount & then a special "local centre managers reduction" when I told them we were paying cash rather than going through the insurance company. Local independent guy - £300. All using genuine Pilkington glass. - Guess who got the job !)

All ready to go...
I was going to put my old full inner wings back on mine, but this
interesting alternative which might be worth copying.

Looking really good, well done to you and Uncle Ken!
I have been thinking of doing something similar for inner wheel arch lining - going to try to find some plastic if I can, as I recently saw someone do something similar with some arch liners for a rally prep mk2 Escort.
