Werner, your silicone hose looks a little close to the suspension, if you used a longer joiner between the middle two hoses it would make the clearance more suitable and reduce any risk of it rubbing on the coil.

You noticed well, but I rather touch the coil then touch the aux belt, that one will cut right thru, can always cover the coil if needed, but silicone against plastified metal wont hurt i think

would a 5mm move be too close to the run of the aux belt? thats about all it looks as though it needs to be.

The obvious route is under the rocking arm --- mine's been there for 9 years without incident

mine goes under the rocker arm no problem. its been there almost 2 years and is fixed with a small bent ally bracket and a p clip. i also have a raceline water rail though making the pipe from the thermostat housing a lot shorter as the outlet is relocated at the front of the engine.

Been doing the wiring loom for a while now build up from scratch using the original aux. fusebox from the mondeo, but fully populated since the picture. So everything is in one compact box and decently fused and a lot of relays. And best of all I just tested it and it works :D

time for a new question: How have you injection guys connected the fuel return line to the fuel tank?

I have added a pipe to the fuel sender, but i think i need that one for breader, so was wondering if I could use the original fuel pickup as the return? (though it is submerged on the inside)

And another one, when is the best time to mount the inner body thub?

Hi Werner, and anybody else that might like to answer this. Re your Fuze/Relay box. Where did you mount it ??
My original Nissan half cut had them mounted on the RH front inner mudguard/body panel. This no longer exists.
My Clutch & Brake cylinders are mounted in square metal boxes. I have been thinking of mounting the fuzes/relays
on top of them. Any better thoughts ?

Also, I am also up to mounting the inner body tub, so am interested in Werner's last question.
Thanks, Ross

Thanks Rob, have got all those things done with the exception of the wiring to the tail lights. Could make a long loom, then leave it roughly in position for wiring in sometime later. However, I still need to know where to put the Fuze & Relay boxes ALSO where to put the ECU. ??

I put my fuse box on the engine bay , passenger side bulkhead BUT if you have or could make easy access in the DASH area , passenger side , it would be handy (removable piece in the dash face :?: )

Engine management needs to be cool --- I velcroed mine to the tunnell(top)under the dash. Easy to remove , so becomes an anti theft device

Wiring the rear before fitting the tub. --------- I didn't cut or fit the wires into their lights etc --- just left long wires hanging out the back --- all tabbed and labelled for later

Here's a picture of where I've mounted the fusebox, nearly same position realted to the engine when in the mondeo.
