The ecu will be drawing quite a current, injectors spark etc., which burns out the contacts in the switch when it is used. Fit a relay the same way you would for lights or horn. Mike

My new 25amp toggle switch arrived in the post today so fitted it expecting not much ------------------------ Started immediately , obviously going to be a '' life '' item replacement .

I've taken note of the advice re- '' relay '' Mike :wink: If it happens again I'll need to find out what to buy and how to wire it up . There are relays in my car but I didn't wire them up , they were all prewired into a unit from PREMIER wiring with my kit ----- wouldn't have a clue myself :lol:
