Steering column triangular bush

Post by josephmoore »

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a replacement (looks like nylon) steering column bush as mine has a bit of play in it. It's the triangular one where the wheel end of the column slots over the rack end of the column above the top universal joint.

Thought it was play in the rack, but on closer inspection it's the bush. It's a standard 3.8 rack which I find a bit slow - elbows everywhere around mini roundabouts - and I've got a new 2.9 rack so I'll be swapping that over at some point anyway. Didn't fancy going as far as a 2.2 on a road car and apparently the Puma uses a 2.9 turn rack which feels spot on.
