Yep --- that's the one but I didn't buy it to run , just to improve while not much work going on for me at the time then sold it on to the guy from East Anglia who then sold it to Kevin . It was rusty underneath on all chassis members exposed to the air , due to the powder coat peeling off . I cleaned it back then Bilthamber'd and Hamerited it . Also put new rear dipped arm links on to replace bent original straight links plus all new AVO 1.9 inch ally shocks and springs all round which lowered the car . A few other small repairs , electric / fuel line / battery clamp plus some painting of brake drums etc .
Kevin brought it up to my house having improved it even more with a better side silencer plus numerous interior ally replacement floors / tunnell .
If I had the space , I'd buy it again at that money --- just don't fancy leaving it in the open under a sheet in this crap weather.
BARGAIN

Sod it --- wish I'd bought it now . I was convinced you were buying it after our chat
I'd have taken the Sierra uprights off and fitted my rodend cds wishbones which would help a little with that didion rear end --- potentially a nice little track car and can't believe that price for the car it was
Perhaps it'll get registered on here again
(unless exported of course)

Hello All, Hi Rob
Just for info, the car sold quickly (which is what I intended) to the first person to view. His name is Michael from East Ilsley in Berkshire, and I mentioned the forum to him so he may be along soon. He is intending to do some serious improvements with a view to hill climbing the car next year.
A poorly timed house move followed by an eye wateringly expensive 6 year refurbishment prevented me spending time on/in the Stylus, so I thought it best to rehome it. I'm currently dealing with the 16 inch slope on my garage floor and will then be looking for something to fill the garage again.
regards
Kevin

That's great , I'm so pleased it went to someone who'll compete on the hills , it all helps raise the awareness of our ' marque '
PLUS give KevP and Liz some similar competition and banter around the paddock

The Green Stylus is up for sale again - for a lot more than it was sold for last time!
