Yesterday I was spanner man , tyre changer , ''sound test dog's body'' driver and carter around of jumpstart battery for Simon Boulter (had a Raw Striker with my ARB) in his JEDI 1000cc single seater . After a first ever drive in any single seater at N Weald , he entered the BOGNOR REGIS SPRINT at Goodwood . This year's course with this club at 3.8 miles , finished just after WOODCOTE on the second lap . Simon did a 165 sec's practice then 162 first timed lap and finally 159 fastest of the day That got him 4th FTD overall and first in class . Opposition for FTD was Malcolm Borham's OMS , SBD's awesome company development car , Bill Johnston's ex- SBD company car , Ian Catt in his fathers/Frank Catt '' just designed/built from scratch '' Wealden Engineering car plus an awesome Skyliner.
Simon was just 1 sec behind Ian Catt and pipped the Skyliner into 5th FTD by 3 sec's.

A couple of pic's from yesterday , a bit too dark but it was pretty dull. The red J15 is David Cockburn another friend of mine , this was his first event after completion of the build . A very nice Duratec install and a car that I corner weighted and set up.
Obviously the white/blue stripe car is Simon waiting for the off
