Castle Coombe trackday
A fellow petrol head who has two classic Alfa Romeos , one of which he hillclimbs , offered to take me down to the Alfaholics Classic Alfa trackday lat Saturday. Having recently aquired one myself I snapped up his offer. My own has engine problems so no chance of taking it , so really pleased to be offered a passenger ride in a beautifully prepared GTA widebody with 2lt Nord twincams with 150 bhp. Not bad for a 1971 classic. On track it was awesome in the corners , mostly at 45 degrees and opposite lock , not anything like my Stylus but huge fun. It gave me a taste of what's to come when my GTAm engine is rebuilt and uprated a little
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !
