End of Dash

Post by Pete&Matt »

Anyone have any ideas of what is supposed to go at the end of the dash to in-fill the area in the pic?

The dash is a fury dash as that's all that we could get hold of!

Thanks

Kev's right, more filler & time.... paint or vinyl over the top.
One of those crap jobs that makes all the difference at the end.

Stylus plastic dash is 1120mm long, how does that compare to the Fury ?

I will have to continue loading the car with filler and fibreglass then by the looks of it!

Not sure on the dash length, will have to check.

Looks like I will need to change the way that the dash is mounted though to be able to get it in with the extra filler etc. Should be able to do something from underneath which can be accessed from the under dash panels.

We wanted the screen surround painted when the car was done, but the person who painted the car never did it. May look a bit naff with vinyl, so may well have to end up painting it. Could have it flocked the same as the dash though?!

A Fury dash will never fit a Stylus due to the Stylus being wider plus the Stylus dash curves to a point at the ends. You'll just have to ' wing it ' with anything that looks tidy.
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

Well yeah. We were "promised" one when we came to do the dash and as usual nothing came of it, so started using fisher fury instead as that was the closest option. Will work something out to cover in the ends. Have something in mind now anyway.
