OFF SEASON running

Tried to start the Stylus a couple of days ago , just as a routine to run it up to temp and stop which I normally do every month minimum. Didn't want to go , fired partially for a few seconds only . Plenty of juice in the battery plus put the big jumper unit on but after minutes of whizzing around , not a single fire up. Tried the previous trick to see whether the water temp sensor was duff again(fan heater onto the sensor body for half an hour) ---- nothing.
Baffled as per normal , my usual response to intermitant faults (I'm sure this bloody engine is female !)Put the charger on the Odysey 25 and left it till today , all fully charged plus the big jumper -------------------- instant start with no issues
I think it was two years ago from memory that Phil finally told me to try a new water temp sensor ---- and away she went so thought I knew what to do next time ---- pour boiling water on the sensor body or use the fan heater . Didn't work this time
Since the full race head went on in 2010 , after busting the original head at Brands , selecting 2nd when I intended 4th ------ it's occasionally totally foxed me and many of you who've given me ideas to sort it. Yes --- it's definitely female
