Hi all

Whilst working on car i noticed all 4 rubber bands have fell off the ends of the rocker arms

I assume the rubber perished? Do you think its wise to replace them?

I had a similar problem with mine whilst at rolling chassis stage.

We install satellite dishes, so I've got Amalamating Tape in the tool box.
Basically its vulcanised rubber strip, so wrap a few length around the joint (not forgetting to strectch it as you do), give it an hour or so & it becomes a one peice rubber ring keeping all the crap out.
Far simpler than a total strip down. Only had to do it once... 5 yrs ago !
