Boot release

Post by Pete&Matt »

Anyone got any good ideas of where to mount the boot lid catch pull cable inside the cabin?

Cant find anywhere that would be a good place and that i am happy with!

Pics would be good for ideas if possible!

Thanks

Mine is just through the lower left boot back , so the handle being black & carpet too , can barely be seen behind the passenger rollbar mount and very close to the left inner body. No pic but will take one later :)
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

Mine is electric release with button on transmission tunnel infront of gear lever, but could do external.

ok, thanks Rob. I did look at doing the same, but wasn't sure if someone else out there had a better solution, like an electronic boot release!

However, im fed up of wiring now, so my cable can stay! Got the fire extinguisher pull cable to put in too next too it!

What catches are you using on the boot lid, my stylus has 2 m5 button head screws atm and I'm not a fan

I will do some photos tomorrow and put them up. Think the catches came from car builder solutions
