Poly bush group buy

Post by norma »

I have got hold of Wisbech Engineering for a price for replacement bushes.
They have the original drawings and the dimensions are correct for my 1997 chassis.
(see attached - hopefully!)
Anyone interested in a group buy? It might help the price.

Thanks!

If you add up the dimensions of the outer sleeve and the polybush it comes to the same length of the inner sleeve.
The inner sleeve needs to protrude both ends. Looking at hints to there installation the inner sleeve should protrude by 0.02" (0.5mm). I can see the dimension 1.5+ but how much +?
When building my stylus the outer sleeves were not square and needed machining to enable the inner sleeve to be pinched tight.

I used these https://www.ondrives.com/cps13x19x05

I was able to space to my exact requirements; all sleeves set to +0.5mm over the bush width. Clamped up very tight and the bush rotates around the sleeve with minimal resistance and near zero lateral play.
