All started with renting a closed trailer. (a huge one measuring 15ft long, 7ft wide and 6ft high) Pulling this with the ford focus was a challenge
4am, left Antwerp
From Antwerp to Calais took 3 hours, and another hour later we're in Dover. From there on, all Motorway to Bath, Bristol.
Arrived around 2pm
Arranged a B&B there, visited Bath and went to bed early.
Woke up in the morning and guess what, SNOW!
Got to Marc then to load up and leave as soon as possible. But first the engine had to be removed.
Loaded it into the trailer
And took off. Apparently it snowed only around Bristol, all the way we had nice weather.
Arrived more then 2 hours early in Dover, so we arranged a boat earlier.
And guess what parked next to us on the boat, another belgian who bought a Mini Marcos that weekend.
Off the boat we drove home and arrived around 11pm
Put it in the garage where it will stay for the next 4 months as our house with garage will be finished by then.
