sent private messages, but they remain in my outbox...

I sent a private message. It said message sent, but when I checked my sent items, it was not listed. I then looked in the outbox, and there it was, so presumably not sent. I cleared the sent items in case it was too full, but the same happened again. Any ideas please? No doubt an old fart with finger trouble as usual!

Yup

I was right.....it's me not the system!!...it seems they stay in the outbox until read by the recipient (different from my e-mail). How embarrassing
