I am in a position to purchase a set of Wilwoods, the question is which ones Powerlite/Dynalite or Midlite, whats the difference is it just pad area
should i go for bigger rotors
if so how big
should i go for vented or not
i'm thinking because of the weight i don't really need vented or am i wrong
i am quite (very) hard on brakes
Your thoughts please gentlemen

Large diam' discs mean less effort for the result so 4 pots plus big discs would be very powerful. However , the car is light , we're not talking BMW M3 here . A 260 or 300 disc would be awesome even on a 2 pot. Vented are probably only needed for circuit or lots of long distance high speed road.
I fitted vented with willwood dynalite plus hawke black pads , eventually going back to 247 solids and 4 pots . Really depends on your intended useage.

we have the capri 2.8 discs and calipers. they look to be good. dont know how they perform yet as we dont have it on the road. taking into consideration that they were on a heavy capri before and were good then, they should be awesome on the stylus. they are 2 pot calipers too!
I've decided

I'm going to go for 247mm vented discs with Dynalite callipers, as i can't justify 260mm discs for an extra £130! i'm gonna whinge now: FFS where does that come from
13mm extra for £130 F*ck me
thats £10 per mm- i'm in the wrong game

Evening Phil, what pads are you going to run on that set up then?
Have you got the front end back on yet?

Are you not using Rally Design? Always find their service excellent. I went with Midilites as they have a dust seal for the piston which means they are gonna last longer. They also now do a new 'Smart Pad' which I have heard is very good, warms up quick and stops well without fade, doesn't eat disks up either.
I went for vented disks cos on long mountain decents on rally's, they are heavily but should stay cooler longer.
