Brake lines, live axle

Post by Jaysun370 »

Quick queston for anyone out there with a live axle.

Where's the best position for mounting the brake lines. I've got rear discs so there is a flexible hose from the caliper, but i can't figure out where to run the lines.

Thanks for any help, any pics would be good also

Cheers

Hi Phil,

Ta for the pics. won't be any worse than my efforts i can assure you :(

Where did you tee into the lines? I was going to go for midway and use a flexible hose for the connection to the front to rear line. Sound about right??

cheers

I didn't build mine, i've just taken apart a perfectly road worhty car and ruined it (feels like that at the moment) but it should be worth it when its finished  here is a better photo of where it feeds in and joins up to the rear brake lines

Hope this is clearer for you.
