Anyone have any info re: insitu replacement of speedo drive gears in Type 9 gearbox, mine appear to have stripped, (speedo and drive cable seem OK, checked with hand brace)

IIRC there is a blanking plug on the opposite side of the gearbox which will need to come out and with the gearbox in the car that is likely to be a real bu$$er, but there is not much else holding the drive in besides that from my aging memory
