Oh yes
and he's built this car from scratch --- own suspension pick up points etc , so will be nice to see it out and about. Last time I saw him to chat he said the boost would be low - ish to start with but it will still be pretty nippy

Hi Guys,
Yes its true the engine ran for the first time on friday, thanks to Neville for helping me with the wiring, the relief when it fired up was enormous having fitted the engine in two year ago after rebuilding it, in some ways it was quite disappointing as the silencing seems too affective, with luck it will blow some of it out after SVA, on the bright side I can fit smaller silencers (none?) and have a little more clearance in the sill. I'm now concerntrating on door locks and bodywork issues along with a few odd wiring problems but after eight and a half years I can nearly see the end, I just have to stop myself doing everything twice just because I can see a better way. There are photo's on the club site already under current build and my name (spelt wrong but close)
spelling !
