The material has arrived to make the windows from (yes it's the right stuff!!)

What channeling do people use to mount it into - do you use a material lined one - or just normal ali channel? I thought it would be better if I could make them removeable with pins held by split pins - anybody done this or have any better ideas?

SSC's kit for mounting their polycarbonate windows (supplied if you got it from Tim, with instructions) is alloy angle not channel . This is yaught glued onto the door top at the correct position to meet the screen. Scratched along it's surface to help addesion to F/glass. The poly's are then mounted using rivnuts which makes them removable. To force the poly inwards towards fitting the screen tightly --- simply lay a peice of electric cable or similar along the inner angle before the alloy flat strip-- this will kick it in as you tighten the stainless mushroom heads into the rivnuts. If this isn't clear just p.m. me for a phone number and we'll chat.ok ?
