Black Sealent

Post by Pete&Matt »

On my sisters old Quantum kit car, the underside of the bonnet etc had a black sealent type stuff on it! you could still see the fiberglass matting through it. Does anyone know what this is and where you can get it?

Cheers

I used some stuff that sounds similar but the suppliers have disapeared, however, car builders solutions do something similar.

tetra shutz is quite good for stopping stone chips as it stays slightly rubbery. Frost sell that. also POR 15 which is also in the frost catalogue. take a look. there are other products in there too!
