LHD unfinished Stylus for sale in Belgium (not mine!)

Post by Werner Van Loock »

It's not my Stylus but from a fellow Belgian that has a unfinished Stylus for sale.

I don't know a lot of the specs, but it's a classic with a pinto and it's LHD, that's about it. Don't know about the price though.

People that are interested can contact me and I can pass on a phonenumber, but I'll ask him first as I don't know how his English is.

chassis ?

Looks as though it could be a very old kit  The front rocking arms are Jeremy Phillips/FURY/STRIKER and P.Powells first demo 'style' -- using SPAX shocks. If it's one of SSC's kits , it must have been before Neville Powell made the chassis/rocking arms :?: Maybe it's one of Jeremy's Stylus kits before he sold out to P.Powell --- i.e. a Fury chassis
Rob.
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

The owner told me that it's been in belgium for almost 10 years, and it never been outside as you can see.

So it can well be one of the first ever stylusses

How easy would this be to convert to RHD?

What is he asking for the car?

I wouldn't try as this is a purpose built LHD chassis. On all RHD stylusses the transmissiontunnel runs from left front to right rear, this one just does the opposite.

That's also the reason I didn't take on the conversion as it just ends up doing a full new chassis as everything is different. A problem that non Sylva cars don't have as they're symmetrically left to right, all Sylva's are asymetric excluded are the riot and mojo.

If it weren't a fury chassis I would be tempted.
