As the standard alternators are big, i have used one off of a Daihatsu they weigh in at 1.5ks about half the weight of a standard one, this is just for anyone wanting to save a bit of weight really, if you need any help wiring one in give me a shout as it is different to VX and Ford, you will also need to change the pulley about 15 quid, i'm sure this is the same weight as the tuners supply but at a fraction of the cost.
