There is one built into the ECU but i don't know what it is set at, i spoke to Weber who said if i sent it back to them  they will set it for me, you can guess what i said, i have a rolling road print out of the engine power and they only ran it upto 6300, anyway having fitted the rev counter the rev limiter doesn't kick in at 6300 so i'm glad i bought one, i will try and fit some ARP bolts before Llandow to strengthen the bottom end  .
Roll on tomorrow :D

Very wise move . At least you then have confidence in the bottom end and a very cheap safety net at 70 quid or so  I would fit them whether the engine was standard or not.
I would have thought that even a 180 ish bhp Vauxall would have a rev' limit of around 7200rpm so no need to worry up to 7000 rpm.
