Ok, I'll start the ball rolling, bought mine in 98 and got it registered Jan 2000 - love it MORE today than I did then!
I've spent as much money modifying/improving it since I finished it as I have on my Audi S2 in the last 12 months
Just goes to show that the Stylus is not only heaps of fun but doesn't have to drain the bank balance too much either!

Mine is the oldest Stylus being the first with the dedicated chassis, built and raced by Jeremy Phillips then bought by me in '97. There is also another No1. Stylus built on a modified Striker chassis.

Bought my chassis in Sept 97 then completed it in 99 . It changed my life -- can't think what I did before now
Seeing Andy Bailey's car half built was my inspiration to a good build .

Bought mine in '99 from Pete Powell in Woking, when SSC was local to me.
Took 3 1/2 years of blood & sweat to get to SVA & number plates, been tinkering with it ever since...
Built it to STD road spec with an old Fiat engine.
Then promptly upgraded it to Zetec / LSD / better brakes, etc, etc, etc.
Lesson to learn ...... Don't compromise, think carefully about what you want the car for, & build it.
If I knew then what I know now I would have built it in half the time !
Chassis no for mine is SSC99057.

Started mine in 98 ,Peter gave me the chassis No SSC98053DN so theres a number that can go on a list somewhere, earlier in the year I thought this would be the year I finished the build but I guess thats the way it goes, although I haven't done much just lately I'm still trying to write my articles in CKC magazine.
Hope Tim is up and about soon and feeling better, he's got enough to worry about without us adding to his trouble.

Kit bought by previous owner in 1997. Registered in 1999 so a pretty fast build! Bought by me and based in Ipswich since 2001, during which time it's only managed to do 10k miles. Still, that's better than the 800 miles it did during its first 2 years of ownership.
Haven't changed that much in 6 years. Seats. Hood trim and sun visors, sump/starter, heavy duty bearing and conrod bolts. Water and oil breather hoses. Exhaust backbox. Air filters. That's about it really.

My car was completed sometime around 1995. It is one of the early ones with a Fury chassis. The chassis number has 92 in it, so I guess that's the year of manufacture.
