Zetec head skim

Post by norma »

Just taken the head off my 2.0 zetec due to leak between no2 and coolant :?
Looks like it could do with a tidy up! - how much can I skim off safely?
Was thinking about 0.2mm?
Any recommendations?
Cheers chaps...
p.s. gonna post this on sylva chat list too

you will need to skim it till its flat, so depends on how bad it is! usually the haynes manual has the figures in for how much you can take off.
