I've been tring to get in contact with tim for the past week to try and order some bits but I can't get an answer. I have tried emailing and phoning but i just get the answer phone.

Can anyone else contact him or is it just me having problems?

Cheers

Hello Alec,
I've just talked to Tim 5 min's ago to say you been trying to get through . He's in the workshop right now so give him a buzz on 413000 but if you ring later it will still get him because it transfers to the office(at home)

Is there another number I can contact him on? I really need to get my lights ordered as its holding me up on my build.

I found if you leave Tim a message he does get in touch but can be days from when you phoned, he needs to look at this as it could be someone wanting to buy a kit. If he could respond to calls twice a day, I know working on your own is difficult having to juggle jobs and the phone but you have to satisfy everyone.

I will just have to be patient. I've left him a message with my number so hopefully he'll get back to me soon!

Do you happen to have the address for the new premises as i only have the one for the old school yard and i understand ssc has moved recently/

cheers! :)

i'm having the quad headlights on the front with the perspex covers as i am building the RT and i think they really suit the car. Unless anyone can suggest another option that doesn't involve too much modification to the bodywork. I'm open to suggestions.

I already have the rear lights and have used some hella LED units from premier wiring systems. they look nice.

cheers for the address! :)

looks sweet!!

how easy to fit are the lights? does the kit from tim include indicators or do i need to find some for the front?

are the perspex covers well fitting or do they require a lot of attention?

cheers for now

alec! :D

Tim can supply indicators to fit within the perspex or you can set them where you fancy. Mine is very low so it was a bit tricky mounting to clear the tyres but that wont be a problem on a road car . My front chassis rail is 93mm off the tarmac.
The covers don't need to fit airtight , merely look right with the lines of the body work then any moisture will drain through with no misting. Tim supplies the alloy frame to hold the quads which if you haven't cut too much fibre glass from around the headlamp surround , will bolt onto the edge you've left. I had to make up brackets because I'd cut most of it away for a different lighting system. Still quite easy though. Give me a buzz if you have problems at the time but I'm sure Tim will advise you when you get them.
Rob.

thats brilliant cheers!

I haven't cut any of the fibreglass away at the front yet so i shouldn't have a problem there.

I managed to get hold of tim eventually on friday evening. the lights are on their way now and hopefully should be here with me later this week.

then its just a case of getting my car painted and fitting the inner trim. then its off to SVA for me!!

:D :D :D

Just left a message on his answerphone but had to ring it about 6 times for it to ring . It kept saying unavailable , got through after 5 min's though.
Rob(Tim said that the phones up his end are very bad at the moment for some reason.) :?

But do you leave a message on his answerphone , if you do he'll get back to you on whatever number you leave him. If you've tried this week , he's on holiday after his trip down to Goodwood then back next week.

Rob(did you read the topic on anti rollbars re - Goodwood ? , I got 1 sec from using it on it's softest setting - Tim will produce these soon)
