Airbox and pipe routing

Looking at putting an enclosed airbox over my throttle bodies as they are very loud and got me into trouble at Oulton Park recently
The problem is space for th 100mm ducting - I was wondering why I can't duct it straight into an opening in the fron wheel arch?
After all, wheel arches are high pressure areas and it would make a nice short + simple duct run.
Have I had a Eureka! moment or a 'Matt Damon' one? :D

how often do you intend to replace your airfilter?! my inner wings seem to get a fair bit of debry in them.

You will get stones , water , mud etc etc , plus no power due to virtually NO filter. Run it to the front grill via the alloy guard/drill or cut large hole just in front of the radiater. Pictures of mine are on this forum.

Oh dear, it was a Matt moment then :(
I thought it would save a lot of agro running a 4" pipe down to the front and then cutting a large hole in Norma's nose.....
Poor Norma.......
