Keeping it and going to keep improving it

Decided to withdraw my Stylus from sale. Had interest from as far afield as Italy and several enthusiasts in the UK. I have the chance to build a new project now, but everything I look at (within my price range) doesn't have the grunt, practicality or individuality of the Stylus. If only the GD T70 was half the price!! I feel very pleased with the decision, and several more improvements are planned. The new hood (in proper vinyl) is now half built. Thanks to several of you who made me think before parting with it.
Paul. :D

Good to hear this. The Stylus is in a league of its own. There's nothing much that compares to it.

Next week I get the keys of my new house and can start moving in, together with the stylus off course so I can start building.

Got the engine out of the mondeo now and it's a 1.8 zetec after all, apparently someone put a 1.8 in place of the original 2.0. But at the price I gave for it I can't complain after all. Block casting and gearbox flange were not visible when the engine was in the car, so couldn't check. And all papers and chassisplates aswell as exhaust system(2 mufflers instead of 1) and induction showed it had to be a 2.0.

1st of July I'll be entering TWMC GOODWOOD sprint in a new class as I haven't made it road legal this year to save £. So will be outclassed but Tim SSC will be there in support along with several other Stylus owners. We'll be there at 7-00a.m. for scrutineering , sound test etc then it all kicks off at 8-30a.m.

See you perhaps. Rob.

I'll be there, hopefully with others....in Stylus if fine....in VW tow vehicle/camper/office if not. So sprints start at 8.30. What time is it scheduled to end please?
