The car will be painted soon so i will replace the windscreen rubber as it has seen better days
Is the windscreen bonded in or does the rubber seal it ?
I have had a look through previous posts and seen that some have used a universal rubber. Any ideas what i need and where i can get it?

The screen is bonded to the f/glass frame and the rubber simply tidys it up . I use black Sikaflex from an autofactors to fix the rubber which dries to a solid , in fact I fixed the boot shutting clip on with it amongst other things. Don't touch it with your fingers though unless they are wet or you'll get in a right mess

Best fit , as advised by P.Powell / T.Benbow , when buying a kit is 2 x FORD TRANSIT windscreen rubbers and cut to fit.(As that was in the build manual from 1996 , I assume it means Transit's from that time
)
