He's just 15 minutes down the road from me so I may well try him face to face on it ---- we'll see what bids he gets by the end of next week

Well , a new spare chassis would be well over a grand with the bits he's got (basically an ssc chassis kit) apart from a tank and exhausts etc . I paid over that in 1997 so 500 squids would make a cheap long term spare
I do have an advantage over some as I could easily clear it away from his ' new kit ' space at the drop of a hat being as it's Chesham/down the road from me (he has a specific dead line )

Would be worth a follow up contact if it's now sitting in his front garden !

There was one bid ----- mine at £205 then nothing happened so I thought it was mine then he withdrew it . Emailed him to ask whether it was sold and that I'd make him an offer ---- he said he'd sold it

Would have been very useful , should my chassis have been bent even if not this time. I'd have stripped the bits off it to sell as they were all standard stuff/heavy
