What attachments can i upload to the forum?

I tried to attach a PDF and a word document to a post, i clicked the attach file button, chose a file then clicked upload file and a small window popped up quickly saying file uploading, then nothing, i can t see any attachment and the box at the bottom says no attachment?

only pictures of jpg, gif and png are allowed for security reasons, if you wan't somehting else up here, mail it to me and i'll put it up

the reason i ask is because its sometimes really difficult to explain something where a simple PD or WORD diagram that i could draw would save a thousand words.

I will see if the digi pen will save the diagrams as jpegs.
