2.3 zetec ?

It seems that Ford do a people carrier with a 2.3 litre Zetec - does anyone know if this 2.3 engine is purely a rod/piston change or is it more than that?
Is the engine the size overal dimms as the 2.0?
I've Googled it but can't find any real useful info.....
I have found a 2.3 stroker conversion, but its 4000 dollars!!!! fook that!

where did you get the info from? What people carrier?
I know of the 2.3 duratec and the 2.3 DOHC 8v engine (similar as the sierra 2.0 DOHC 8v engine) big heavy and no power
Might be some US engine and anyhting badged zetec there isn't always a zetec, might also be a duratec, they even got a 1.9 pinto powered escort (looking nothing like our escorts) and stuff like that

I think Werner's right , it's a 2.3 lt Duratec from the pick-up truck giving around 140 ish bhp so lots needs doing to get it to perform as a 2.3 should. I know a guy developing a 2.3 lt Duratec into a 2.5lt , changing all internals etc and ultimately will give 320bhp -- more even , maybe. Very expensive exersize though .

Since Ford stopped making the Zetec engine they have started using Zetec as a finish level like XLS and Executive used to be it is not a statement of the engine used.

they are mainly in the galaxy....
very lazy engine! well the one at work is anyway!
