Welcome Phil :)

Sure you'll get your car's teething troubles sorted soon. All part of the fun eh, and there's always plenty of good advice on here

Hi Ned

Welcome

Would be good to see you at our monthly meet in Liphook, always a good mix of Stylus's, Striker's, & Furies.
3rd Thursday of the month at The Links pub.
I'll post proper directions separately.

Brian Beavis is also in Portsmouth. He's very approachable if you need local help.
I'm sure he'll be along on here shortly.

Matt

Hi Phil,

She's obviously still annoyed I sold her

Blowing fuse could be an intermittent short behind the aux gauges in the centre of the dash, as you will have noticed its a bit tight in there and I had that area in bits to change the bulbs in the three Aux gauges just before I sold her.

If that checks out OK last time I had this problem (and the reason I fitted the extra fuse) it ended up being the Tacho which is odd as it's been rebuilt twice by ETB

Glad your still smiling anyway :)

I had a flush fit aero fuel cap on mine when it was road registered without any water getting in :o
When you lift the little flap , I drilled a 1.5mm hole through as a breather ---- perhaps yours has been drilled too large  Also they can be adjusted for closing tightness from underneath  Put a photo up here of it with the flap open but not lifted out :)

If that's the problem it could be filled and re - drilled :)
