It really is very good value from a spectating point of view plus it's got a restaurant. They do charge entry though but the machinery you'll see is awesome to match the track which can be viewed from many positions. Campings allowed so you could go the night before.

Well , I was just looking at the B&B 's down there and considering going Saturday pm / bit pricey

--- getting fed up with the tent

If it's just me then maybe I'll take the two man jobby rather than the hanger

Rob. You could stay at our house. We are 45mins away from Gurston though. On the Saturday (18th) we will be at Llandow, so may not get back home until 9 ish.

That's really nice of you to offer Kevin

but I think I'd like to be down there and settled before then so's I can just get up in the morning and get scrutineered in plenty of time - no rush

I've wound down from my days of 15 events a season and leaving the house at 4-30am ---- ugh

Just been looking through my photos of old Gurston events and it looks like it was June 2003 when I last entered so it's 6 years -- phew , how time flys

I was certain it was just 4 years

It's quite handy having dates on these digi camera pic's

My accepted entry came today and I'm not in limited production sports cars with Strikers , Westfields etc. I'm in their Sports Libre class up to 2lt so opposition is -----
RADICAL SR4
PHOENIX 02H
BMC MINI
A.HEALEY SPRITE MK3
MAGUIRE MINI COOPER S
NIKE
MALLOCK MK18 BK
IMAGINATION PH1
WEV HCS
RADICAL SR4
PHOENIX 02H
So this will be about improving my 2003 time here because the record for this class at Gurston is 29.77 sec's by an OMS SC1 single seater
I'll take the trailer down on the Saturday then tent over night
