Le Mans Classic - July

Well..

Been thinking about it for sometime & it comes along every other year...

Ferry & tickets now booked so will be going across to Le Mans Classic in July, probably in the Stylus :P.

Done Le Mans proper 20+ times over the years, particularly with the old man in the late 70s to mid 80s, but very commerical these days.

Hoping for a more relaxed time, this time...
Plenty of bread, brie & red wine... oh and a few noisy cars at full chat 8)

Anyone else going ?

Matt

Got a feeling that just may be the one that failed scrutineering on P.Powells Goodwood demo day when I stepped in for a free track day  The HEALEY side vents have been improved plus nice wheels and the hood .It had a highly tuned ZETEC 2lt . I met this guy at an Abingdon trackday with MOTORSPORTEVENTS a couple of years back ---- could be wrong :?:

Mines the ex Andy Hill one, and the one at Abingdon. Me and the car were at the classic too and I saw the blue one you've pictured. It was on the same ferry from Portsmouth to Caen as me. They were taking their time loading the ferry, I'd got on early and was standing out the back watching all the cars coming on and was suprised to see a blue stylus in the distance that looked like mine. I was a little concerned for a second but the wheels weren't black.

I've added a couple of pics taken of mine on the track on the Friday before qualifying. You may note that it gained a couple of elf stickers before leaving for an extra classic le mans look to go with the green front.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, I went to the last one as well but it wasn't as hot. This year I stayed with speed chills at bleu sud. It was eccellent and they provided really good food and beer on site.

Well chaps I am sorry but the speculation is all a little off course. The unknown blue stylus UTU788V belongs to me. Never tracked and has always had dry use until now when I ran into wet weather around Oakhampton on the way back to Cornwall. The event was so much better that the 24 hour-more civilised and with a greater varity of fabulous machinery. The only downside was not being able to keep up with my eldest son on the drinking front. All in all a great trouble free run.

Great , at least we know of another name and car connection  Now you need your avatar pic up here
I didn't know there was a Stylus in Cornwall . John Vinnacombe built one in the West Country , just not sure where as he doesn't chat on this forum.
