Some of us are off to Stoneliegh on the 25th Feb for the RACERETRO show . Not a Kit show , I know , but more interesting if you're in to Motorsport . It'll be my first outing ' car ' linked in 2011

Had a really good day at the show and bought a new gearbox mount I spied in a box of bits , while there. I've been thinking mine is a bit soft when underneath greasing the prop and generally looking for trouble . It was £14 and marked as Cortina
When Pete supplied it as a build item , I seem to remember it was marked as from an Escort Ghia
Anyway now I know

Now I've thought about it - I think Pete said they were Escort Automatic gbox mountings

he told me they were cortina - just another bit of proof that he talked out of his rectum!

Yep , now you say it , I remember the same . Probably because they were £20 odd and not the £14 I paid yesterday ten years later
