quad headlight adjustment

Post by alecmartin19 »

I've just had my mot.

it passed but the headlight beams didn't have a very good shape to them. usually car's dip beam has a flat top to the beam. my lights don't have this. i've checked that the lights are the right way up and the bulbs are fitted correctly but still no joy.

Can anyone help please. my sva isn't far away!

Cheers!

Well , if it passed an MOT you're o.k. Pattern wise , you are certain that the long lamp 5 inches or so which is the dip , is mounted where it says TOP moulded into the lamp body ? plus is mounted highest up not close to the road i.e. mainbeam ???? Sorry to teach grand mother etc etc but wondered !

Rob.
