I've had my Stylus on the road 11 years now.
And every year I drive it for the first time, I giggle like a loon and feel about 20 years younger.
I absolutely love the speed/noise/rawness - its so bloody addictive.
Feels great with new quick rack, new R888's and new ARB (Thanks Rob).
How can anyone ever sell one of these?
I know I couldn't.
Heaven, pure heaven

Oh I'm so envious of you road going guys around this time of year . If the weather's bright you can relieve the withdrawell symptoms until the drier track time arrives Glad you're pleased with the ARB --- I'd be interested to here your findings on track regarding turn in and exit speed , overall lap times etc . Happy to chat about set up once you've found it's new habits
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ ! Alfa Red 159 2.4 jtdm ti 260bhp 365lbft / BilsteinB12 + Adjustable Powerflex camber/castor bushes. Red STYLUS 2lt zetec 231bhp 185lbft Dunnell . RED 1972 Alfa 2lt GTAm replica 170bhp.
will do Rob - hammered Oulton Park on saturday, was supposed to take the Stylus but for the first time EVER, she wouldn't start so had to take the S2 (currently for sale!) instead. Was still a cracking day. (911 4s couldn't keep up anyway)
Oh and yesterday - decided to see why the Stylus wouldn't start, and she started on the button! If she wasn't already called Norma, I'd name her Christine!** Bloody mind of her own!!
** see Stephen King 1980's paperback for more details about a posessed car called Christine!

Check all your water jubilie clips , top up the water and preferably add a bottle of Redline waterwetter to aid cooling . If they've got a nice big fan all should be ok

Water is all fresh and topped up as I had the head off last week. WIll tripple check all the nuts/bolts/clips. Never used water wetter before so I'll leave it as it and see how it goes. I'll be watching the temp and revs and everything else as I'm paranoid its just going to go bang having never done an RR before. Will be sticking a new filter and another batch of fresh oil in before I go. Just hope the Xflow is up to it.
